Welcome to the Saras Foundation

We aim to provide the rapid provision of First Aid and basic-life support for road accident victims in Tamilnadu & Kerala in India. Using your donation and contribution, we hope to run ambulance service , recruit paramedical staff and provide education to public about road safety. We also aim to train the staff for the above services.

After we have grown in economic strength, we aim to provide free treatment to road accident victims from poorer socio-economic groups. In addition to providing trauma care, Saras Foundation hopes to raise the awareness of the dangers of road accidents and to teach the traffic regulations to the public. Educating local communities about the dangers of speeding and drink driving, as well as encouraging the use of helmets and seat belts will form an integral component of the Foundations activities.
